Rhapidophyllum Needle Palm

Rhapidophyllum hystrix, commonly known as Needle Palm, is a cold-hardy native shrub prized for its striking texture and resilience. This compact evergreen thrives in partial shade to full sun and tolerates temperatures down to -15°F, making it ideal for cooler climates and mixed borders. Its fine, needle-like foliage creates dramatic visual interest year-round, while small yellow flowers in spring attract pollinators. Needle Palm adapts well to various soil types and requires minimal maintenance once established. Perfect for creating architectural contrast in woodland gardens or contemporary landscapes.
