Hosta Guacamole

Hosta Guacamole is a striking perennial groundcover with bold, chartreuse-yellow foliage that deepens to rich green as the season progresses. Its heart-shaped leaves provide dramatic color contrast in shaded garden beds, woodland gardens, and containers. The plant reaches 18–24 inches in height and spreads steadily, making it ideal for layering beneath trees or along borders. Delicate lavender flowers appear mid-summer above the foliage.

Hardy in zones 3–9, Hosta Guacamole thrives in partial to full shade and prefers consistently moist, well-draining soil. Water regularly during dry spells and mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Divide established clumps in spring or fall to refresh plantings or propagate.

Perfect for adding luminous texture to shaded landscapes, mixed perennial borders, or specimen container plantings.
